In May 2023, Afi C. Dobson completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and French, and a minor in Sociology. Ms. Dobson has lived in several countries in Africa, including Cameroon, Niger, Mozambique, and Ghana, and studied abroad in Lyon, France in the spring of 2022. She worked as a research assistant in the Political and Economic Section in the United States Embassy in Addis Ababa in 2022. She speaks fluent French and Ewe, the national language of Togo. She has interests in food security and sovereignty. She has applied to be a Maternal, Child & Adolescent Health Educator in Guinea with the Peace Corps.
